CES Team Completes Training and Certification on Defender Filters. We Can Help Existing Systems with Preventive Maintenance.

By January 27th, 2022No Comments

CES has yet to provide any Defender Filters to customers, but it didn’t stop us from noticing that many customers with these filters were having trouble securing responsive local preventive maintenance and emergency service. These filters are highly technical, with automatic pneumatic valves, bump cycles, compressors, pre-coat loops, and more… and it takes a technically oriented team to service them. On several occasions, our service team has been able to roll up their sleeves and help customers out, resolving quite a few issues along the way.

While our experienced team has been able to figure some things out on their own, there is no substitute for factory training and certification.

We are proud to announce that the CES service team completed their training in Mid-January, and are now fully certified in Defender service and maintenance.

All in all, 12 CES technicians took part in the factory training, performing a 5-year maintenance service at the Martin County’s Sailfish Splash Waterpark, tearing down a large Defender Filter, cleaning and/or replacing the gaskets, grids, and more. It took all day, and teamwork was one of the keys to their success. They received their certification shortly thereafter.

As with a lot of pool equipment, adhering to a factory-recommended maintenance schedule is the key to maintaining trouble-free operation, qualifying for factory warranty, and preventing ultra-expensive long-term repair and replacement issues.

Those of you with Defender filters can now rely on the CES service team to help you with all your service needs.  Please contact us to schedule a service evaluation and/or to schedule a pre-season service call… to keep your system in tip-top shape for the upcoming pool season.

Kudos to the team, and job well done.
