The All new Duraflex short stand provides a firm foundation for mounting Duraflex springboards, consisting of a short stand anchor and a fulcrum assembly. The major components are heavy duty aluminium and hard anodized castings. New mechanisms in the fulcrum, mean there is no longer any slip-stick or ‘breaking the footwheel free’ when adjusting the fulcrum. This allows divers of all ages to adjust the fulcrum to their desired position.

The Short Stand features a new alignment beam that runs between the fulcrum and rear end, ensuring correct spacing and alignment. This gives a much more consistent feel of the board, giving divers even more confidence as they take off. In conjunction with the alignment beam, the shape of the mounting locations has been designed to allow for more flexibility when mounting holes in the deck are misaligned.

The All New Short Stand is virtually maintenance free. The fulcrum mechanism no longer requires adding grease or cleaning to ensure optimal use and there are no longer any anti-rattle clamps/ roller clamps to adjust. The only routine maintenance is to add oil to the hinges.

3 MeterThe 3M stand has a newly enhanced ladder. The ladder is thicker and 50% heavier, providing a more stable base for the board. The shape of the new ladder is designed to put more support directly under the mounting location of the diving board which also enhances stability. The ladder has built-in handrails and the steps are new, wider, featuring a replaceable slip-resistant slotted tread. The  3M stand comes with handrails on both sides.

14ftThe 14′ Duraflex board is used for recreational diving. It is a one-piece board that has been heat treated for a yield strength of 50,000 psi. It is tapered from the fulcrum area to the diving tip. The board is coated in aqua-colored thermal-curing epoxy resin. The top surface is finished with a laminate of flint silica and alumina, between coats of epoxy to effect a slip-resistant surface.

16ftThe 16′ Duraflex board is used for recreational diving in commercial pools.

MaxiBThe 16′ Maxiflex model B (also called Maxi-B) is the diving board that is used in all major diving competitive events in the world. The Maxi-B is slightly lighter in weight, and is said to give a slightly quicker action in the hurdle step. It is a one-piece board that has been heat treated for a yield strength of 50,000 psi. It is tapered from the fulcrum area to the diving tip, and it is tapered from the fulcrum area to the anchor end. The double taper allows the whole board to arc while flexing, giving it approximately 15% more lift than the 16′ Duraflex. The board is coated in aqua-colored thermal-curing epoxy resin. The top surface is finished with a laminate of flint silica and alumina, between coats of epoxy to effect a slip-resistant surface.
