The Pulsar 500 employs a “HMI/PLC” electronics package for efficient operation and enhanced safety features. The power to the chlorinator is reduced to 24VDC with the use of a step-down transformer in the control box. The Pulsar 500 utilizes a PLC Timer with 20 presets for 0-100% control of chlorine output rates. Safety switches are additionally used to interrupt spray to the nozzles when the lid is opened or when the hopper is removed. The Pulsar 500 also incorporates improved maintenance features. Water flow in the unit is designed to remove residue from the chlorinator base. It has a capacity of 300 lbs of Pulsar Plus Dry briquettes which is equivalent to 204 pounds of available chlorine. It includes a constant washdown function; and has a ramped bottom with a well agitator to aid complete evacuation. A 1 hp booster pump provides suction through the venturi for optimal evacuation of the chlorinator. Easy access to the Pulsar 4’s internal components makes maintenance a breeze. The Pulsar 4 is designed for pools with 250,000 and more gallons.
The Pulsar 3 System’s NSF certified chlorinator delivers consistently dependable water quality, even at high chlorination rates. It can be used with a timer or ORP-based pool automation unit. Easy to maintain, the Pulsar 3 system features a unique spray technology that enhances your pool’s filtration system, helping to make your pool water sparkle. a 3/4 hp booster pump provides 27 psi through the venturi for optimal evacuation of the chlorinator. The Pulsar 3 System is designed for pools between 50,000 and 250,000 gallons.
The NSF Certified Pulsar 1 Chlorinator provides consistent, dependable pool water chlorination and is capable of very high chlorination rates. It can be used with a timer or any ORP-based pool automation unit. The easy to maintain Pulsar 1 features a unique wave concept that is designed specifically for use on commercial pools/spas from 500 to 50,000 gallons.
A special patented blend of 68% available chlorine calcium hypochlorite, dry, solid, Pulsar Plus briquettes contain an additive that dramatically reduces the scale associated with calcium hypochlorite solutions. Pulsar Plus briquettes have a uniform dissolution rate and provide steady, uniform chlorination of pool water. Easy-to-handle Pulsar Plus briquettes are stored in a lightweight plastic pail or drum. A season’s supply of Pulsar Plus occupies just one sixth the space of a season’s supply of bleach. Pulsar Plus has an excellent shelf life, maintaining 97% of its potency in one year of storage under normal conditions – versus bleach which can lose as much as 33% in one month.
